About Us
Iraqi Kurdistan Society of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery (IKSO/HNS)
The society was established in 2005 in the Kurdistan region - of Iraqi, it was the first medical society to activate scientific gathering in the area in field of otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery
Encouraging the members to participate in international conferences in different courtiers in the world, The society has three branches in Iraq Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Duhok.
Currently, the structure of society includes 400 members. The headquarters of the (IKSO/HNS) is located in the compound of Rizgari Teaching Hospital.
Goal
The goal of the Iraqi Kurdistan Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery is to enable otolaryngologists to reach the greatest levels of professionalism and ethics while also promoting education and research, ultimately leading to improved patient treatment. We speak up for our members and our patients.
